Green smoothies have been part of my daily routine for a long time now!
There is no better way to take all your green and supplements in than a green smoothie…and believe me, this one is delicious.
If you’re not sure how to consume powdered supplements (things like spirulina, chlorella, turmeric, or moringa)…just add them to the blender!
I recently just added moringa supplements into my diet. It’s a fantastic superfood packed with anti-inflammatory properties…and a powerful anti-oxidant too.
It has a raw taste (it’s literally like you’re tasting powdered grass)…but you can barely notice it in the smoothie!
Moringa is totally optional by the way. I’ll be adding a bunch of spinach as the primary base of this green smoothie.
Of course, you can deviate from this recipe as much as you want…
…you can add honey, or more fruits, or even more supplements. Just make sure you have a fruit base too to keep it sweet and fruit-tasty. If you don’t add any fruits, it’s going to taste a bit raw (more green-juice like). And that’s okay if you don’t mind that.
Also, I’ve been adding banana extract lately when I run out of bananas and it’s been working really great too! I just use the extract you’d normally use when you bake.

Delicious Super Green Smoothie
Green Smoothie Ingredients
- 1/2 banana⠀
- 2 handfuls of spinach⠀
- 1 tsp of moringa (optional)⠀
- 1 tsp of black maca (optional)⠀
- 1 tbsp of hemp hearts (I only use Manitoba Harvest Hemp products).
- 1 cup of raspberries⠀
- Stevia to sweeten (optional) – you can also add more fruits!⠀
- 1 scoop of protein powder (use your favorite)⠀
- Water and ice
- You can also add a slice of ginger or turmeric. I forgot to add this in.
